WISE (Web Inside, Smart Engine) is a product line developed by ICP DAS that functions as control units for use in remote logic control and monitoring in various industrial applications. L-CON8R follows IEEE 802.3af-compliant (classification, Class 1) Power over Ethernet (PoE) specification . It allows to receive power from the PoE-enabled network via Ethernet pairs (Category 5 Ethernet cable). This feature provides greater flexibility and higher efficiency, which simplifies system design, saves space, reduces cables and eliminates the need for dedicated electrical outlets. Meanwhile, L-CON8R in case of an environment without PoE still be able to receive power from the auxiliary power sources like AC adapters or battery, etc.

This module L-CON8R supports Modbus / TCP protocol to make seamless integration with SCADA software available. It has 8-channel power relay outputs. Each power relay contact support classification as 5 A @ 250 VAC or 5 VDC 30 A @.
