RAID5SATA-USB3 +, with the combination of USB 3.0's high transfer rate and RAID 0 and RAID 5's use of multiple hard drives, provides the best performance in reading and writing. RAID5SATA-USB3 + is equally useful for desktop users with large space requirements and servers where it easily provides up to 16TB of storage space for users (12TB by RAID 5).
The hard drives in & nbsp; RAID5SATA-USB3 + can in case of failure change during operation if RAID 5 is used. When a new hard drive is inserted, it is automatically rebuilt based on the information on the 3 remaining.
RAID5SATA-USB3 + has both USB 3.0, eSATA and Firewire -800 ports and can be used for most operating systems - eg. Windows, Linux and Mac OS. Note that Windows cannot be booted from RAID5SATA-USB3 + and that a 64-bit system is required to utilize more than 2TB.
