    USB to serial converters are ideal for applications where serial ports are not available, for example on newer laptops and desktops / servers. This can be a significant savings compared to having to convert RS485 systems to USB. All models are supplied with loose or mounted USB cable. The converters supports OHCI (Open Host Controller Interface) and UHCI (Universal Host Controller Interface) and certain models have optical isolation up to 2000V (see table). Maximum speed up to 921.6 kbit / s on the RS422 / 485 port
