The cable supports the new Earc (Enhanced Audio Return Channel), which means that the sound quality will be significantly improved. For this to work, it requires that Earc supported in both the screen and the device (both ends of the cable). If it is the case that Earc only supported on one end, the cable is automatically adapted to the ARC standard.
IMPORTANT: The cable must be installed correctly the first time. The plug with the "Display" is set to screen and "device" plug is inserted to the device.
NOTE: Network Channel (Ethernet) can only be shared between Compatible devices. (AppleTV, smartbox SmartTV Xbox etc.). It will not work from a regular PC.
