  <p>The shielded Ethernet cable is designed for use in environments where electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) are present.</p> <p>Examples of such areas are production , Automation and Industrial applications where engines, generators, transformers and other noise emit when industrial machines are in use.</p> <p>DANBIT offers several variations of shielded Ethernet cables for use in these environments including single-film shielded assemblies to areas with minimal EMI and RFI. Although the Foil Shield provides 100% coverage of the conductors, it is difficult to effectively terminate the connectors and offer high resistance, which does not provide the best path to the ground.</p>
